Easter Skate 2018

Dear skating friends!

Riihimäen Taitoluistelijat has the pleasure of welcoming all confirmed skaters to our annual Easter Skate competition.

Below you will find the confirmation, preliminary schedules, lists of participants and event info.

Competition Information and facilities

Easter Skate 2018 will be conducted in two adjacent rinks, rink 1 and rink 2, both of which have their own dressing rooms and parking areas. For easy access to your rink building, please check this page for more detailed info when the skating orders and schedules are published on March 12th. A map of car parks and buildings will be included.

Neither rink is heated.

Warm up areas

There are two warm up areas available for competitors, a running track inside rink 2 and a gym inside the maintenance building of rink 1.

Award ceremonies

All award ceremonies will take place in the lobby of the maintenance building of rink 1. Award ceremonies will be held as soon as the results are ready. Generally this will take 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Coffee Shop

Hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and snacks will be available for purchase in the coffee shop located in rink 2. Cash purchases only.

Figure skating specialty store Golden Skate will be present at the competition Saturday and Sunday by the coffee shop. Please visit their website https://www.goldenskate.fi/ to see the selection. Items can also be ordered for delivery at Easter Skate.

Schedules and Skating orders

Ice practice

Practice session for adult skaters will take place in rink 2 at 21.00 on Friday evening, cost is 5€/skater for 20 minutes.

On ice practice time will be available in both rinks after the competition finishes on Saturday evening, approx 21.05-21.55 at a cost of 5€/skater.
